Marcia Nascimento Da Silva Martinez is the heart behind We Care 4 You, a practice rooted in compassion, cultural awareness, and care that truly shows up.

​

Originally from Brazil, Marcia worked at Fiocruz, a health institution known for its research, where she served among other positions, as a fundraiser for research and social projects at Fiocruz Fundraising Office. In this role, she collaborated with stakeholders and donors to support some philanthropic initiatives at . Among her many efforts, the work she found most meaningful was for NAPEC/IFF, (helping children with rare diseases, who were hospitalized for extended periods of time, often far from their families, sometimes in other states). As part of this initiative, NAPEC matched volunteers who could “adopt” the children during their hospital stays; reading, singing, playing, providing necessities, and most importantly, making them feel loved and supported despite their health challenges.

Marcia spent over a decade living in Africa, where she was a partner in a catering company that prepared and distributed nutritious soups to more than 200 malnourished children every Sunday. She also traveled around the world to Europe, South America, Central America, and Latin America. While traveling, she absorbed many cultures, deepening her love for diversity and inclusion.

After relocating to the U.S., Marcia was encouraged to pursue elite nanny work, where she built high-level experience supporting families in intimate, high-pressure environments. While this work refined her skills, her values remained clear: as well she has a commitment to serving families and a deep desire to support parents during their most vulnerable transitions.

This clarity led Marcia to evolve her practice into becoming a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula, allowing her impact to extend beyond childcare into whole-family care. Rather than serving one family at a time through long-term contracts, Marcia chose a path where she could reach and support more families during critical moments of adjustment, healing, and growth.
